Introduction
Plumb Group Direct LTD is committed to combating slavery and human trafficking. We recognise that these issues are still prevalent today and aim to responsibly alert our staff to the risks within our business and supply chain. All staff are encouraged to report any concerns to management, who are expected to act upon them promptly.
Commitment
We are dedicated to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our supply chains or any part of our business. This policy is in accordance with Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and applies to all employees. We actively work to prevent modern slavery and enforce effective systems and controls to ensure it does not occur within our supply chains.
Policy Implementation
To underline our commitment, we have established formal procedures concerning slavery and human trafficking, including disciplinary actions for breaches. This policy is communicated at all levels of the company and is regularly reviewed by the Managing Director to ensure its continued relevance and suitability.
Risk Mitigation

We aim to identify and mitigate risks by:

Conducting stringent vetting and investigation of our supply chain, including contractors and subcontractors.

Ensuring all employees are paid at least the minimum wage and have the right to work.

Encouraging the reporting of concerns and protecting whistleblowers. Not knowingly supporting or dealing with any business involved in slavery or human trafficking.

Maintaining a zero-tolerance stance on slavery and human trafficking, expecting compliance from all in our supply chain and contractors.
Training and Awareness
To ensure a high level of understanding of the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking, we provide training to relevant members of staff. This includes:

Monitoring payroll systems.

Maintaining communication and personal contact with the next link in the supply chain to ensure their understanding and compliance with our expectations.
Implementation and Review
Copies of this policy will be provided to all employees, and acknowledgment of receipt will be maintained. We will communicate, implement, and maintain this policy throughout the Company.

Review: This policy will be reviewed annually to ensure its effectiveness and relevance.
